lingforum -- Applied Linguistics Discussion List

About lingforum
English (USA)

This is a discussion list for the Applied Linguistics department. Any topic in the field is welcome for discussion. Everything plausibly related to the field is welcome – from the acoustics of aardvark accents and babbling baby bats to Vygotskian visions of vocabulary and zinging zitherists of Zhengzhou, and anything in between.

Idle chitchat, debate, musings and ponderings welcome. Links to media, discussions of 'hot topics', queries to like-minded people are all welcome. Discussions linked to classes are also welcome, but do be aware that professors also receive these messages!

Please be respectful of others ideas and viewpoints. Debate is encouraged, insults, flaming and other rude behavior is unacceptable.

Please do not use this list to solicit business or for personal use.
